Can someone please explain what this “child tax credit” is all about?

Question by ticktock: Can someone please explain what this "child tax credit" is all about?
Please forgive me, I must be out of the loop. I've heard some people mention it, but I've never heard of it. What is it, what does it entail and who is eligible?

Any decent preparer will have done this for you, if not you should check your previous tax returns and you may be eligible for more if your child was born in previous years. It basically takes $ 1000 per child off of your tax liability. If you owe $ 6000 in taxes and have two children then you only owe $ 4000 in taxes. And if you paid 6 thousand through your employer deductions then you will recieve $ 2000 as a refund.

Is discrediting or slandering someone a form of grand theft larceny? Esp if the “credit” is widely desired?

Question by GT2: Is discrediting or slandering someone a form of grand theft larceny? Esp if the "credit" is widely desired?
And if so, is there a legal term for it? And can it be prosecuted as a crime, if the person slandering that person goes to extreme lengths to commit it and offers people a piece of the pie if they participate? Like in, conspiracy, to steal that person credit for themselves, and hope to benefit from it, trying to con that person out of their stuff and exploit their circumstance (at least from their point of view)?

Yes, but the entire public would have to go to jail for it, because 80 -89% population is guilty of it! Or at least 80-89%!

Covet NOT they neighbors goods, was a law in the old (and new) testament that was set up by GOD because GOD knows the evils of mans heart, and that the heart of man is wicked above all else, who could know it! But God knows it, He knows every hair on their head!! This is why this law (and 9 other Commandments) were put in place by Him. God knows that man covets!

That is why He said "thou shalt not COVERT they neighbors goods or anything that thou neighbor has." He knew that MAN would kill, steal and commit other atrocity by doing this, which is probably why he said this last, because it covers all the Commandment and the motives behind them.
God Bless!
